From humble beginnings in the wood, grain, coal, and kerosene business as Sawyer Coal & Grain, Harold R. Clough founded H.R. Clough, Inc. in 1939. Harold's daughter, Marilyn, and her husband, Bob Davis took over day-to-day operations in 1968. Following Marilyn and Bob's retirement in the 1990s, their son, Alan Davis came on board as the company's president. Alan and his wife, Susan expanded the business and focused on improving customer service. Currently, H.R. Clough is proud to be in its fourth generation of hands-on family owned and operated leadership. With Alan and Susan's recent retirement, Blaine and Stacy Davis oversee daily operations and the team of energy sales and service professionals. With over 81 years of experience, we are New Hampshire's premier energy specialists.
 
Our full-service model offers delivery of oil, propane, and motor fuels, design, installation, service and maintenance of all types of oil, gas, and alternative energy systems as well as air conditioning and water conditioning systems. We are an authorized Generac distributor for complete installation and serving of residential and commercial standby generator systems. Our highly trained and friendly staff will assist you throughout the process of buying, installing, and servicing our full line of energy products.
